CHALLENGE

The music industry was a declining vertical under the Rain Retail Software brand. The product team had been building many new features for the product over the course of a few years. Despite many efforts from marketing the lead generation and new customer aquisition sales had slowed down.

APPROACH

As the Vice President of Marketing for Rain I manage multiple SAAS (software as a service) brands. Based on market research and the success of other brands we determined a rebrand was necessary.

Results

BRAND LAUNCH RESULTS

The launch of Music Shop 360 consisted of a series of internal and external communications and advertising to new and existing customers. We launched the brand in October 2022 and saw an immediate increase in leads, closed deals, and monthly reoccurring revenue. Since the brand launch Music Shop 360 maintains 49% Year over Year growth in revenue.

Organic Search Performance

ORGANIC SEARCH PERFORMANCE

After the launch of Music Shop 360, we have seen several successes in addition to additional leads and customers. Music Shop 360 quickly claimed the top of national organic search results for keywords relating to “music store POS” and “music store software”. This was a result of a successful PR campaign during the launch of the brand and a content marketing campaign which included; PR content, blog content, a monthly podcast, social media, and other marketing-related tactics.
